New explainer: What witnesses should know

12 June – Today the Independent Investigative Mechanism for Myanmar released a new explainer for those who talk to the Mechanism as a witness.

This explainer answers common questions about what happens during an interview, confidentiality, informed consent, witness support and how information may be used. It is available to download and share in English and Burmese.
